Quality of Light

Metering & Bracketing

This is the assignment controlling with metering and bracketing.

During working this assignment, it was raining every days,
so I couldn't get the enough light when I did shot.

Moreover, it was the first time to use digital SLR and I was unskilled
with digital SLR, so I was confused during adapting myself to new camera .

However, except bad weather and poor skills, it was fun shooting.

I really liked making difference amount of light on my photos.

These are some of my favorites from the project, 48 in 24.

I took pictures of my ordinary daily life at home, on the way to school or mart.

I made effort that my pictures show fine effects on light and shadow.

It was really fun to take pictures, however it hard to take pictures as well.

The hardest thing was I couldn't control the light by manual mode.

I used to handle with digital camera, but it is only for using with auto mode.

I’ve never controlled manual mode before, so controlling something like exposure, aperture,or shutter speed was too difficult, so I've got some darken or chalky pictures when I was taking this assignment.

I hope that my poor technique handling the digital camera will be better gradually by this class.
